| The marketplace today is dominated by three key insurance carriers – American International Group (AIG), XL, and Zurich US. Each of these carriers provides capacities up to, and exceeding, $100 million. Other companies exist with environmental units such as ACE Environmental, ARCH, Seneca and Liberty International Underwriters, which comprise the secondary market. Information on each is provided below. |

Seneca is a commercial property and casualty insurance company licensed in 50 states to provide the best risk coverage, with specialty lines including surplus property, inland marine, environmental liability, technology errors and omissions liability and boiler and machinery. Seneca is a subsidiary of the Crum & Forster Companies which has over $750 million of policyholder surplus and is rated "A- Class XI" by A.M. Best Company. Seneca Environmental is an up and coming carrier with a niche market of low to mid income businesses. They offer a broad range of environmental coverage's and supporting lines. |
