A 16 year veteran of environmental risk management, Tom offers solid technical expertise along with practical environmental insurance underwriting experience. Specializing in industrial facility, Brownfields, real estate and property transfer underwriting.

Tom came to Frenkel Environmental after a seven year tenure at ECS, an XL Capital Company where he was a Senior Underwriter in the Industrial and Commercial Facilities underwriting division. Besides underwriting at ECS, Tom also acted as their Engineering Supervisor, a role which coordinated both underwriting due diligence activities as well as bundled value-added loss control services for ECS clients with internal engineering staff and contracted consultants.

Prior to joining ECS, Tom worked as an environmental consultant for working on projects varying from EPA regional enforcement support to private client environmental due diligence and field investigations.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from the University of Delaware.
